This video shows how I feed the red composting worms from wormwoman.com that live in my basement in an Autralian-made “Can O’Worms.” It’s easy to take care of them and you can use both the liquid and solid fertilizer that results, as well as raising worms for fishing if you want

how do i start something like this from scratch
It probably would be good to add, in small quantitities… as a “base” or alkaline element – to balance out more acidic content. I use wood ash for the same reason.
Yes, and now a lot of new worms are appearing there in nursery-like piles, very interesting!

i heard you can use limestone is this healthy for the worms?
Yes! … added second bin and there’s a large nursery quite active there now… apparently the worms who were in parenting mode really like the conditions in the second bin
